Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has introduced the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP) to help French-speaking newcomers settle in communities outside Quebec.

First announced in March 2024, the program details were finalized in December. Through this pathway, individuals with intermediate-level French skills and a job offer in a priority occupation can apply for permanent residency (PR) in Canada.
