Visitors are allowed to dwell in the country only for 6 months. Once the time is over, you are no longer eligible to be in Canada. Sometimes you may live for more or less time, but this depends on whether the visa officers permit you to stay longer or lesser when you enter the airport and go for arrival formalities.
