New Tourism and Hospitality Stream Launched by Alberta

Additionally, the program has introduced a new initiative aimed at promoting tourism and hospitality in the province. The "New Tourism and Hospitality Stream" is scheduled to commence immigration application intake on March 1, 2024. This new stream is designed to address the labor requirements of the tourism and hospitality sectors in Alberta. While the province will only accept a limited number of applications under this new stream, successful applicants will benefit from expedited processing. Importantly, the launch of this new stream will not result in delays for other applications. AAIP is committed to processing applications under the new stream in a timely manner while also ensuring timely processing for other priority initiatives. More information on eligibility criteria and application procedures will be released on March 1, 2024.
