A total of 2,850 candidates were invited with scores starting at 525 CRS points.
This is the largest general round since December 6, 2023, when a staggering 4,750 invitations were issued to candidates with a CRS of 561 or higher.
While the CRS did dip to 525 this week, down from 534 in the previous general draw on February 16, the 2,850 invitations issued just scratches the surface of the number of candidates who are sitting in the pool with a CRS above 500. This indicates that there are likely a significant number of candidates in the Express Entry pool with scores between 500 and 525 (likely around 7,500 profiles).
Finally, it does look like we have returned to a trend of general draws every two weeks. While we aren’t sure whether this trend will continue, we have seen a general draw every other week since the last week of January.

On March 12, Canada held a general Express Entry draw, issuing 2,850 invitations. This is the largest general Express Entry draw so far in 2024.
